About NCMEC

Working with other advocates, John and Revé Walsh founded the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in 1984 after the abduction and murder of their son, Adam, in 1981.

Hope Live will be a celebration of the child safety movement that was created at that time. We want to bring the country together for an unforgettable experience that highlights the resiliency of survivors and the ongoing work to FIND missing children, REDUCE child exploitation and PREVENT future victimization.
